Compete4yourseat.com is a brand new free lead service for travel agents, I came up with the idea a few years ago. My intention is to level the playing field and keep travel agents competitive and active in the future of travel.

Since the inception of the internet and the constant stream of new
travel websites the brick and mortar agents have been struggling to
stay in business. This would be a terrible shame to put these hard
working people out of business, since they are so valuable. Not just
for booking airline tickets but for complicated itineraries and
personal service. So we decided to bring the internet back to the brick and mortar agents.

The service is still in the beta or testing stage, which means we are updating and changing the site to meet the needs of the consumer and travel agents. The site will be open to travel agents and customers all over the world, but we are hoping down the road to form partnerships and launch the same site for each country.

How the the site works is fairly simple. The consumer fills out a simple reservation form requesting airfare , hotel or car rental. The request goes to a internal area in our website where travel agents can search and bid for the consumers travel. Once the agent makes a bid on the trip request , the system generates a e mail to the consumer alerting them they have a bid on their trip.

The consumer can then sign back into their account and view the bid and trip details. The consumer will see the agents contact details and can contact them to make the sale, or they can contact them via our system. Another great use for the site, travel agents can submit their own customers itineraries and fellow travel agents can bid on their trips .

Right now compete4yourseat.com has over 3000 members and over 80 travel agents registered in less than one month. We have over 2000 active trips in the system available for bidding right now, trips consists of Coach, Business and First class travel all
