The law establishes the payment of US$ 5, or its equivalent in Colombian pesos, which will be paid by foreigners during the remaining of 2007 and during all 2008. This rate will have to be included in the air tickets corresponding to regular flights to Colombia. “The Yellow Train” starts the 'Route of Macondo' The arrival of the ‘Yellow Train ' with Gabriel Garcia Marquez, as one of its passengers, to Aracataca, his native town, in the north of Colombia, marked the beginning of the tourist project the 'route of Macondo'.
